The Exchange Club of Pompano Beach will hold their annual fundraiser “150 dinner” on Saturday, January 30th at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club at 6:30 p.m. This event is the biggest fundraiser of the year held by the Exchange Club, which supports many great local charities including The Children’s Healing Institute (for the prevention of child abuse), The Broward Children’s Center (which serves hundreds of local children with disabilities annually), as well as many other great local causes. The Exchange Club is a non-profit, national service organization that focuses on community service, student recognition and scholarships, child abuse prevention and Americanism.
Tickets for the event are $150, which includes dinner, open bar, music, dancing and an entry in the 150 drawdown to win many great prizes. Dinner tickets can be purchased for guests for $100. There will also be a silent and a live auction with many great items, which include vacations, golf, fishing charters, celebrity memorabilia, restaurant certificates, artwork, and many other great opportunities.
This year’s theme is Copacabana Night and there will be an authentic Latin band, along with Copacabana and Brazilian Tropicana dancers.or tickets and more information, call 954-941-7283.
Join us as we gather for our annual Holiday Breakfast and Toy Drive at the Lighthouse Point Fire Station on December 15 at 8 a.m. Delicious food and plenty of coffee to jumpstart your day will be aplenty along with jolly networking. Bring a toy to donate to a less fortunate child.

We had our 2nd LHP Taste Meeting this Tuesday, November 3 at Galuppi’s and it was a GREAT success! Many thanks to Richard Rosser who underwrote the event to get us off to a good start, but had to work during our meeting last minute.

OCTOBER 21 – THINK PINK – Help us raise money and awareness for breast cancer. Join us for the Lighthouse Point Chamber’s annual Think Pink event. Held at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club, this event brings together the community to support the American Cancer Society’s research arm for breast cancer. Raffles prizes, networking, announcements, food, drinks and more. Event is free but an RSVP is required at email@example.com. Chamber members can provide us with raffle items to help raise money. Raffle items do not have to be business specific but can include marketing materials with the item. Over the years the Lighthouse Point Chamber has donated thousands to the American Cancer Society through this annual event along with general community donations.
