chamber party

Our Chamber melds fun, charity and networking all under one roof. We believe our residents yearn for a resource identifying products and services from their local neighborhood businesses, and the Lighthouse Point Chamber seeks to act as a hub for that information.

NEW this year! We are asking each member to contribute a gift basket for the Taste of LHP auction. Please help us by completing the enclosed donation form and returning it as directed no later than December 6, 2013. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

Taste of Lighthouse Point: This signature Chamber event, hosted each January at the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club, welcomes approximately 500 guests for a fun-filled evening featuring local restaurants, a continuous wine tasting, entertainment and a variety of live, silent and Chinese auctions. This year we celebrate the 10th Annual Event on January 21, 2014.
The proceeds from the Taste of Lighthouse Point fund local projects that benefit the businesses, residents and community of Lighthouse Point. Past donations supported Lighthouse Point’s recreation department, library, fire department, local scholarships for college bound students, charitable groups, and various projects that support the local business community in Lighthouse Point.

Shop the Point: This initiative launched in 2013 at The Shoppes at Beacon Plaza with Moonlight at Beacon Light and made shopping for goods and services more rewarding to local residents who received a Resident Card and entitled them to discounts, incentives, and other rewards for supporting businesses in our community. Many businesses are already participating. We are looking to expand this program to other shopping plazas and businesses. Go to www.lhpchamber.com for an up-to-date list of participants and their offerings and how to get started with this “Shop Local” initiative, Email shopthepoint@lhpchamber.com with any questions. We encourage all members to offer a incentive.

LHP Chamber Web: www.lhpchamber.com This website presents exclusive Chamber member only content, event and community information. Visit it frequently for updated topics, events, promotions.

LHP Chamber Navigator Magazine: The 2014 membership year will be kicked off with a publishing of the Chamber’s Navigator Magazine. This magazine is circulated to approximately 6,000 LHP addresses and will represent all LHPC members in good standing as of Sept 15, 2013.
